Carwin might win, but it's because he punches hard and Mir doesn't take being punched hard very well. All of that nonsense he was spewing just screams hater.

I'm not sure where he's going with Camoes. He's predicting either a UD via control or a sub for Camoes. I think Camoes can sub Kurt, but I don't see him outwrestling him.

As for Mir/Carwin, I am in agreement at least in that at the present line Carwin holds value. Not sure about the rest.

Camoes could sub Kurt, or KO him with his big punches. But what I have seen of Camoes, he is a top control specialist. I don't think he will be taking top position on Batman. I also give a technical striking advantage to Pelligrino. I think Pelligrino will have to make a major mistake to lose. It could happen of course, but I think the value is with Pelligrino.

As for Carwin, IMO any bet in that fight is pure guess work. Its hard to value a guy like carwin, based on ONE credible win- which he landed an comeback death blow. It is hard to value Mir as well, because of the superMir possibility. I guess I think Mir will win now, but who knows. I liked Carwin yesterday.

LOL that's where I'm at as well.

Him "completely disregarding" the Nog fight is pretty asinine. At this point in his career Nog gets beat up by faster guys who can hit him hard. He makes it sound like he literally walked into the cage with the bubonic plague. Ridiculous.

Discrediting the Kongo win is a real headscratcher. He doesn't take anything from him knocking Kongo down because Kongo was expecting a takedown? Mir faked a shot and came over the top. It's called strategy. This is MMA afterall. I'm also not sure where he gets Carwin's "incredible chin" from or his "elite takedown defense". I guess it's lumped in with his other assumptions about weight, strength, and cardio advantages. He also once again completely overrated the Greg Jackson factor.

I believe Carwin is going to win, and even I think he's being unfair to Frank. I agree that there are all kinds of uncertain factors in this fight. The fact that it is 1) a 5 rounder and b) between two guys with untested cardio could make for a sad state of affairs if by some fluke it actually goes to the later rounds. I'm imagining the Abbot vs. Taktarov ending. Or like Rolles Gracie fighting his identical twin.
